MOTIVATION TO REVISE EFFECTIVELY
Tip if you are falling short of your target grade
ALL students need a certain amount of practice to embed mathematical skills sufficient to gain the highest grades (some theorists suggest a minimum of 80 questions on any topic). This level of commitment can be overlooked particularly by bright students who, faced by a constant stream of new work (and by demanding weekly homework assignments in other subjects), neglect to revise newly-learnt Mathematical concepts continuously throughout the year. A common error is to feel that because you understood the subject in a lesson in January that you will remember it fully at exam time.We recommend that all students devise for themselves a programme of regular revision throughout the year, rather than leaving it to exam study leave.
